Multiwing & Wing fan blades · Identification

Identify your fan

You'll need a tape measure and your phone camera. Shut down and lock out the equipment first. Your answers and photos come to us with your contact details, and we reply with the matching parts, a quote, or questions.

Before you start

If you follow these instructions, we can identify every detail of your fan and supply the correct parts. Skip anything you can't measure. A clear photo is often enough for us to fill the gap.

Have these ready

Tape measure for diameter and blade width.
Calipers or a ruler for shaft, keyway and bolt holes.
Phone camera. Wipe dirt off the blade root first so stamped markings show.
Lock out the equipment. Never measure a fan that can start.
Measurement units (pick one)
Is the fan off the equipment? (pick one)
Either works. Some mounting details are easier with the fan off.
Is there an identification sticker or tag on the fan? (pick one)
Check the hub, the center boss and the blades, on both sides of the fan.
Copy every character, including all the zeros.
Please keep measuring. A tag helps a lot, but some numbers belong to an equipment maker's private spec that the manufacturer won't release. Your measurements make sure we can still match the fan.
Optional.
Why the part number isn't enough. Blades are molded full length, then trimmed to fit each machine. The name molded on your blade (5ZL, 6WR…) identifies the blade profile, not your fan's size, and it stays the same after trimming. The same blade also makes a different diameter on a different hub. To cut new blades that match yours, we need your fan's measured diameter and hub positions.
An uncut 5ZL blade, full length as molded.
Its molded name, which stays the same after the blade is cut.
Identify your fan even if you don't see it in our store. We list the common parts, but we can special-order the rest of the Multiwing and Wing Fan ranges.
Each step has a photo box. Photos are resized on your device before sending, so large phone pictures are fine. You can send with steps left blank.
